Rev. Sarah Kooperkamp
The Rev. Sarah Kooperkamp, Co-Priest-in-Charge
Mother Sarah grew up in New York City. She began discerning a call to the priesthood her senior year at Amherst College in Massachusetts. She earned her Masters of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary in 2008 and received a diploma in Anglican Studies from General Theological Seminary in 2011. She was ordained a priest in the Diocese of New York on September 29, 2012. She worked at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church until July, 2014 as the Assistant Rector. She joined Holy Apostles as Vicar in September, 2014.
Mother Sarah's interests include diverse Christian communities, theological ethics, becoming an disciple of Christ, Bible study, ministry with children and teens, justice and small sewing projects.
She lives in Windsor Terrace with her husband, and her two children.
The Rev. Kimberlee Auletta, Co-Priest-in-Charge
Mother Kimberlee is a lifelong New Yorker; she grew up in midtown Manhattan but has had longtime ties to Brooklyn. She received her BA in Religious Studies from Haverford College and ignored God’s call to ordained ministry for over 10 years, during which time she worked in PR and marketing and traveled extensively by herself in South East Asia. She received her M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary in New Testament Studies and her diploma in Anglican Studies from General Theological Seminary.
She is currently pursuing a certificate in Spiritual Direction and has a particular interest in Ignatian spirituality and how it is able to help us lead lives that are Christ centered. Mother Kimberlee is a voracious reader and has recently rediscovered the art of puzzling and likes puzzles that are 1-2,000 pieces.
She lives in Prospect Lefferts Gardens with her husband Eric and their two young children
